Things I like: Orkney, collaboration, #IslandGovCamp , live video and audio streaming of community (and "professional") events to the internet (it's an island thing!), twitter (I tweet as @sweynh and @IslandGovCamp , and am among those who tweet as @OrkneyStoF , @stmagnus and @OrkSciFest, among others), #twicket (in 2012 it's on 29 April), food, beer, wine, putting my #iphoneography out on Facebook and twitter.

Things I don't like: duplication of effort, isolationism, meanness of spirit, having so many online profiles to maintain.
