Dan is a filmmaker, animator and comic book artist. I divide my time between teaching animation and filmmaking and making short film projects in the local community.

In the last 18 months i've made 2 semi-professional short films with young people taking the lead roles of production. The films have been an opportunity for young people to learn the skills of filmmaking and also for me to develop my production skills.

I've run over 100 filmmaking/animation workshops for young people at the BBC in Manchester as part of their 21st century classroom initiative.

I love movies like Dark Crystal, Labyrinth but I'm also a obsessive fan of Life and Death of Colonel Blimp and E.T.

I'm currently trying to make my first feature film 'Raven Waiting' a dark fantasy tale.
