Yuck 'n Yum is a not-for-profit curatorial art collective in Dundee, Scotland. We showcase some of the best creative work in the UK in our quarterly zine, and run free arts events - chief amongst which is our Annual General Karaoke. For our AGK, we ask for submissions of original karaoke videos, then run a karaoke night with them (complete with prizes). This year marks our third AGK, and we need your help to fund it.

The AGK is a staple in the Scottish artistic calendar, combining good humour, creative networking, videomaking and prize-winning. Our top prize is a £300 award for best video - previous winners include artist Rachel Maclean and musicians/artists Joe Howe and Lachlann Rattray.

Over the last 2 years, we have worked hard to make the Annual General Karaoke a staple in the artistic calendar of Scotland. We are proud to say that our reach has extended further afield and submissions have come from the USA and Germany. We have testimonies claiming that the AGK is the most exciting thing to happen in years and submissions are passionately and meticulously prepared. The value of the AGK to the art community is that it widens the reach of artist videos, it creates a fun environment for creatives to come together and network and it also showcases Dundee's thriving art scene.   We aim to have the prizes for best video and performance reflecting the intention of the event as a professional development and networking evening with a twist. The prize money is given with the intention that the winner will be able to continue to create work with the small fee we award.

£50.00 or more : You will receive a DVD of the past winners (icl the winners from 2012), your name added to the sponsor song, a year long subscription of Yuck 'n Yum PLUS a specially designed badge to proudly display your generosity.

 

£75 or over

£75.00 or more : Yuck 'n Yum will create a VIP table for you and your pals on the night of the AGK. The table will come with booze, canapés and if your lucky a little kiss from one of the Yuck 'n Yum members. Your name will also be added to the sponsor song, alongside a year long subscription to YNY, a DVD of the past winners PLUS a specially designed YNY badge.
