The Hub is not just any co-working space. It is an international platform of people and projects working for a radically better world.
Hub Islington is where it all began in January 2005, up here on the top floor of an ex-industrial warehouse. It has since expanded across the globe to around 20 cities including Amsterdam, Tel Aviv, Melbourne and Sao Paolo, as well as our Kings Cross space in London.
However, the space, though beautiful and inspiring to look at, is very cold in Winter and difficult to heat due to the lack of insulation.
As a community that cares passionately about the environment (the Hub network includes some of the most innovative practioners in sustainability service design and consultancy) we need to make the space more energy efficient.
Operation Insulation is vital if we can continue to house this extraordinary community of people working at 'new frontiers' to tackle the world's most pressing social, cultural and environmental challenges.

Hot Stuff Tickets - Impro comedy night

Month upgrade to Hub 25 (for existing Connection members)
£20 or more : Are you a Hub Connection member? Ever wish you could spend more time in the Hub, getting to know the rest of our lovely members and getting on with your work in an inspiring workspace? This great offer means that you can upgrade to a Hub 30 membership (normal price - £72 inc VAT) giving you the equivalent of one amazing day per week in the space with an extra warm welcome from the hosts!
Bespoke illustration gift
£30 or more : For just £30 we're offering this totally unique gift for a child or adult by Johanna Weaver. An animal alphabet name painting - the perfect present for little people (and some grown ups too!). Made to order, so let me know if you know a little someone who goes crazy for crocodiles or loves lemurs! Hand painted on fairly traded, hand made paper and tied in a pretty bow. Half day boardroom hire
£30 or more : This reward entitles you to half a day (three hours) in the Hub Islington's boardroom - a unique and inspiring converted attic space (4 x 6m), with board room table, flipcharts, projector screen, and lots of natural light. Can be booked any time between 9am and 6pm.
One hour social media consultancy
£30 or more : Become a top Tweeter and a Facebook guru in an hour's consultancy with social media expert Chris Smith. Chris is offering the opportunity to assess your website and give unique insight into the best tools & methods available to enhance your social media marketing.
Two hours of (ethical!) cleaning
£32 or more : Make your home or office as clean as your conscience! The Hub's favourite green cleaning company, Ultimately Eco, (http://www.ultimatelyeco.com/) are offering two hours of cleaning for the reduced price of £32. A bargain to bring a bit of sparkle back in to your surroundings...
One hour body massage
£45 or more : Leave all your stresses behind with a deeply relaxing full body massage for just £45. This is offered by Jude, who has over 12 years experience as a qualified professional massage therapist, and you'll need to be able to get to West London (Northfields tube, Piccadilly Line).
One year's Hub Connection membership
£60 or more : A Hub Connection membership means you're part an inspiring and growing global movement - a community of people from every profession, background and culture working to tackle the world's most pressing social, cultural and environmental challenges. This membership (value = £144) includes: - a profile on our member database, allowing you to connect with over 4,000 members across the world. - access to the London member-to-member mailing list, where you can share ideas and resources with over 600 people including social entrepreneurs, small business owners, creatives and freelancers. - access to all Hub events, including talks, debates, networking opportunities, free business clinics and workshops. - five hours per month use of our inspiring workspace in Islington. Three month tariff top-up
£80 or more : Existing Hub members may increase their tariff to the next level up, for three months. So... A Hub 30 member can become a Hub 50; A Hub 50 member can become a Hub 100; A Hub 100 member can become a Hub Unlimited; This has to be a genuine upgrade i.e. you have to have been on your existing tariff for at least a month before the start of the fundraising initiative (i.e. since before Oct 1st). Also, unfortunately, we won't be able to offer Hub Unlimited members on this offer a key to the building.
Full day of video filming / editing

Hold your event or party at the Hub
£250 or more : Use the Hub's beautiful workshop space, either in the evening or at the weekend for up to five hours for an event or party. The Hub is a unique, inspiring space with views across London and lots of natural light in the day time. Conveniently located in Central London, five minutes from the Angel tube in Islington, the Hub is perfect for a workshop, creative brainstorming session or networking event for up to 50 people. Hosting for a day
£300 or more : Whether you're hosting a cocktail party or business conference, have fallen behind with your paperwork or simply love your Islington hosts, this reward is for you. The prize reserved for our most generous donors is the support of a host for a day. If you donate £300 or more we can arrange for a member of the Islington hosting team to be at your beck and call. We'll answer emails, do your filing, take clothes to the dry cleaning or even serve canapés at a party.
