About Omega Kid

Omega Kid is a Fanfiction work inspired by and set within the same world as the hit comic book/film Kick-Ass, a world where real-life superheroes are appearing everyday and doing their bit to help the innocent and protect lives. When I first started writing Omega Kid, it was just a fun little project that I thought after watching Kick-Ass for the first time. For years I’ve always imagined what it would be like if I decided to put on a costume and try to be a superhero in the real world, and now I can actually do that with the comfort of writing.

The story of Omega Kid follows Thomas Lanks, a 15-year-old living in London, who becomes inspired by real-life superheroes that have taken the world by storm, and asks the immortal question…why not me? So he sets out to become one himself. During his time as Omega Kid, he has many adventures, some ending better than others for him. He comes across all kinds of super villains in his superhero career and problems in his personal life, which includes some harassment from his two best friends, Alex and Stephen Columbus, to become superheroes themselves.

Plot Synopsis for Lost Girl

It’s been two months since Thomas made his big debut as Omega Kid, and already he’s been making a big difference to the city, giving it hope and belief again…shame it still doesn’t help him get to class on time. As punishment he’s forced into a research project involving an abandoned flat, nothing special right? Well not according to his friends, who warn him of a string of murders that are supposed to have taken place there, as well as rumours of a ghost girl that haunts the area. Despite some hesitation, Thomas must continue on if he has any chance of staying in school. Soon enough, Thomas discovers that the rumours may be more fact than fiction as he becomes wrapped up in a mystery that has lasted nearly 10 years. Who is the Lost Girl? Is she responsible for the murders? Will Thomas live long enough to find the answers?

What We Need

Financing for our film is key; all money that is raised for this film will go into the making of the film. We have a talented make-up artist and costume designer, and with enough money, will ensure we deliver only the best for our fans, supporters and the rest. Financing to help support our technical team and camera, can’t make a film without a camera. And we can’t forget locations as well, for a film like this, locations are key, our mise-en-scene and camerawork is going to be top notch with the right help from you. Remember, we need to make our target before our days are up or we get nothing and the film might never happen.

Other ways you can help

And even if you don’t have any money to spend, you can still help by spreading the word and finding others for support. Tell your friends, get them to tell their friends, get them to tell their parents so they can tell their friends. Even if you can’t afford to spend a penny/cent, you may know someone who can. It’ll be worth it in the end if all financing goes right.
