Half Remembered Dreams is excited to be taking up it's first production of Bryony Lavery's More Light to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2012. However, we need your help!!
THE SHOW
'Sister ... what is to be done?' Trapped in the tomb of the first Emperor, the ladies of the emperor wait for death. No one speaks. No one moves. They barely breathe... There is silence. Imprisoned their whole life by strict codes of behaviour the women accept their fate, powerless to resist. Yet something is stirring within the ladies and their struggle to survive tests the very limits of sisterly love. Art, love, violence, beauty, sacrifice and cannibalism collide in this lyrical piece.
THE COMPANY
Half Remembered Dreams is a brand new theatre company that embraces an interdisciplinary approach to theatrical performance. We aim to bring together artists from a broad range of art forms in a way that allows us to find fresh and exciting ways of telling stories.
Although excellent and numerous training for young artists exists, we wish to support those taking their first steps in the profession through practical involvement in a project. Half Remembered Dreams is committed to supporting emerging artists and aims to provide opportunities for involvement wherever possible.

WE NEED YOU!
The company is so excited to be able to take a production up to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, however, it is expensive! We have been working extremely hard and we've already raised a lot of money through bake sales and launch nights but we still need more! The money that you donate will go towards:
Insurance Costs (£100)
Set (£100)
A projector, stands and lanterns for the show (£500)
Props (£50)
Anything that you can donate will make a huge difference for our show and will be hugely appreciated by the company. Thank you so much for reading our page and your support!
Love and Thanks
