Laugh & Cry / KOKON

It teases, it smiles, it screams. A double-bill of contemporary dance from two choreographers. Laugh & Cry by Evangelia Kolyra and Kokon by Justyna Janiszewska. Shifting through a series of contagious motions and emotions, Laugh & Cry reveals the stark differences between public and private personas. Inspired by Women Who Run With the Wolves, Kokon reflects the transformative nature of woman through the cycle of life-death-life, turning the destruction and finality of death into a creative force.
