Spencer Brown

My name is Spencer.  I'm a writer/director whose credits include - Baby Hands (for the BBC), Smack the Pony, The Sexy Ads Show and Lip Service.  I'm also a stand-up comedian.  I'm a regular at the top clubs on the UK comedy circuit including the world famous Comedy Store.  I've  also performed throughout Europe, being the first British comedian to record his own live special, Live at RAW, for Sweden’s equivalent of the BBC. I'm a regular at Los Angeles’ Los Angeles Improv, The Laugh Factory, the UCB Theatre and The Comedy and Magic Club and New York’s Comedy Cellar, Stand Up New York and The Comic Strip, and has appeared on NBC’s Last Comic Standing. I have also appeared on E! Entertainment and performed in a sketch pilot for Fox.

I will be playing  the lead role in the upcoming feature film The Roundabout, and have been a regular cast member in Nathan Barley, and Trinny and Susannah: What they did next, as well as appearing in shows such as Garth Merenghi’s Darkplace and Man to Man with Dean Learner. I have also been a lead cast member on radio shows including Radio 2’s Out to Lunch, and Radio 4’s Teenage Kicks and Vent.
