Last year, award-winning AccessArt invited children, teenagers, adults and professional artists to send us their drawings of everyday objects. We asked them to draw objects which meant something to them, and we received thousands of images from across the UK and overseas. The drawings were sent by schools, galleries and museums (including the Design Museum, London) and creative practitioners, and together form a touching and beautiful visual collection of everyday objects.
The project was run by volunteers and is completley unfunded, and we have set a very modest target to help us digitise the images and create an online gallery and downloadable ebook. Once created we know this project will form an important and lasting legacy of the ever-changing objects which we choose to surround ourselves by. Please consider making a donation to this valuable social project. Check our rewards to show our appreciation!
Work on the project will start April 2012 and end by September 2012
Many thanks for joining us!
