stagejuice is a Sydney-based performance collective. Fusing dance, live art, video, installation, sound and music, we aim to create striking and sensual interactions between performer, technology, audience and space. We devise work through collaboration, experimentation and investigation to tackle contemporary and age-old issues.
stagejuice was formed in 2006 and its projects have included Folding (currenly in development), Looking at a Blackbird (Surry Hills Library, 2011), Meeting Place (short dance film, 2010), in the shadows (PACT Theatre, 2009) and ball (LiveWorks, Performance Space, 2008). In 2010, stagejuice launched freshly squeezed, an annual performance lab for emerging artists which leads to the presentation of new, interdisciplinary works. stagejuice has also partnered with the History Council of NSW to curate and perform at the History of the Future and Eat History launch events.
