Broken Fingaz are a pioneering, multidisciplinary street art collective from Haifa, Israel. Heralded as ther first crew to emerge from their homeland, their widely acclaimed and dynamic work includes graffiti, graphic design, installation and music. Since their beginnings 11 years ago, Broken Fingaz have steadily built a worldwide following, exhibiting work on walls and galleries shows around the world. In 2010 they took their work to Art Beijing, China, and in 2011, their success was elucidated by simultaneous exhibitions opening at Israel's two most prestigious arts institutes, the Tel Aviv Museum, and the Haifa Museum of Art.
In March 2012, Broken Fingaz (four gypsies by the names of Deso, Kip, Tant and Unga), loved for their positive, gung ho approach present their work to British audiences in their first major UK exhibition, in association with the London-based collective NO way. The exhibition will open to the public for two weeks at East London's Old Truman Brewery, Brick Lane. We require funding for this project to bring the BFC to the UK from Israel, and to go towards materials and exhibition costs. By supporting this project you will be making a real contribution towards a ground-breaking event, as well as facilitating the work of the artists, providing a platform for exchange with British audiences and artists.
The owner of this project has not made any updates yet.
