The American Film Institute is said to be the world's best film school. Danish film student Jacob Lundgaard Andersen started studying filmmaking at AFI a year ago.
One of his friends back home in Cophenhagen is the very talented and promising singer/songwriter Penny Police (aka Marie Fjeldsted). She has recently released her debut album "The Broken, The Beggar, The Thief" which has been praised by the Danish press and got a lot of airplay on national radio. She has found her own niche and very own sound that touches both old as young.
Back in the days Jacob and Marie wanted to make a music video for exactly this song "As Long As You Watch My Heart". At that point the song wasn't even released yet and Jacob hadn't got the facilities to make it properly so it remained an idea.
But NOW the situation is perfect for finally making this idea come true. The debut album including this song is out on the Danish label A:larm and has been well received by the press. Jacob has found a team among his classmates who has fallen in love with the song and is eager to help and they have the world's best teachers to ask for advice.
Everyone is doing this for free. The money raised will go to locations, testfilming, equipment, light, materials and all that stuff needed for making this film as good as possible.
From a Danish music organisation (Danske Populær Autorer) we got $3000. Marie is able to donate $2000 herself and so we will ask you to helt us with the last $3000.
We appreciate your help more than you can imagine!
