The Memory Man is a dark fairy-tale about the need to accept the past and to acknowledge the future. At fifteen, Charlie is beginning to deal with a new soar in teenage hormones, however his mind still lingers on the past, dwelling upon a traumatic event. 

Alone in the depths of the forest Charlie meets The Memory Man, a mysterious figure who gives him the chance to relive past memories. Accepting, Charlie is forced to confront his darkest memories.

ABOUT THE CREW

We are a group of third year Film Production students at the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham, Surrey, producing The Memory Man as our Graduation film. Using the skills gained over the previous two years and through further experience outside of University, we intend to produce a film of professional standard.

Based on an idea that Director George Walker Glover has been developing for several years, The Memory Man was selected from over thirty scripts as one of this years Graduation Films to be put into production. 

WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP!

The Memory Man, scheduled to shoot in February 2013 is currently in the pre-production stage and needs your help to enter production!

As a group we have all contributed financially to the film but are unable to fund this project alone. Our finance plan consists of fundraising events, corporate work and an online campaign. We are asking for your help to raise £1500 that would be put towards:

The Camera Package, Zeiss Ultra Prime Lenses and Necessary Camera Accessories: 

We have carried out thorough research into a range of cameras and their work flows before deciding to shoot on the Red MX with Zeiss Ultra Prime Lenses for aesthetic and technical reasons.Your money will go towards the cost of renting this during the shoot with the addition of necessary camera accessories such as black promist filters. If we are unable to reach our budget the camera will be the first thing that we will have to compromise, being the largest cost.

WHEN WILL I GET MY REWARD?

Some of the rewards you will have access to straight away, others can only be granted when the film is completed. We aim to get the rewards to you by May 2013 at the latest however, please be aware that due to the nature of filmmaking, shooting dates may change causing a slight delay. Having said that our University deadline is the 29th April 2013 so it will have to be completed by then, though we may make small changes after this deadline.

One thing you can be certain is that we WILL make this film. It's not only a film that the entire crew are determined and excited to produce but it is the film that will grant us a degree in Film Production, something that we have been working towards for over two years!
