‘Radha is Looking Good’
Radha is 24 years old and autistic.
She doesn't speak. Only in her head - where the audience is.
This is a rare opportunity to hear her thoughts, dreams and feelings,
her loves and hates, and her darkest fears.
Audience feedback (work-in-progress)
“ . .a compelling performance . . . beautiful story . . . a powerful piece, interesting insights into the characters thoughts and world . . . engaging, moving, and touching . .”
‘The Clock’
A dark modern fairy tale about shadows, fear, and secrets.
Using shadow puppetry and silhouettes, a single performer presents
three generations of women all trapped by the past and its stronghold.
Audience feedback (work-in-progress)
“ . . .very entertaining and funny. Amazing! . . . An original, compelling story . . . I would see this again, and bring people! . . . Beautiful, funny, touching, a gorgeous piece . . .”

What are you doing?
From Hide and Seek Theatre come two exciting one-woman shows devised and created entirely from scratch. The two pieces have had work in progress showings and we’re really excited to be able to announce that we’ve already been invited to perform them at the Pleasance Theatre London in May.
How did it begin??
These projects: Radha is Looking Good and The Clock were devised from scratch using each actor’s own personal memories and mementos. Taking key moments from our past and exploring how these things – whether tangible or more conceptual – have shaped our present identities, led to two hugely individual projects – guided and directed by Tal Jakubowiczova.
Where are you going???
On the 9th – 11th May 2012 we are taking this double bill to the Brighton Fringe
to be performed at the beautiful Marlborough Theatre.
Who are you!?!
How rude, so sorry, allow ourselves to introduce . . .ourselves.
We are Hide and Seek Theatre. With joint cultural heritage as rich and varied as the kind of theatre we aim to create, the company is made up of Tal Jakubowiczova, Chandni Mistry, Gloria Sanders, with the extra special recent welcoming of Producer-extraordinaire, Alex Green. This melting pot of Israeli, Indian, and Spanish backgrounds, along with the Hebrew, Gujarati and Spanish languages that we’ve grown up with, has cooked up a mutual desire for creating explorative and curious theatre, to discover new and innovative ways of telling stories, and to affect and move audiences to question their own roles and identities.
What do you want from me?!?
As with any theatre production, we are aiming to raise enough money to cover our theatre hire, rehearsal space and marketing costs, and have set ourselves the grand total of £1450.
Check out the rewards on the right, we have a yummy bundle of goodies for you scrumptious people. We’d like to take you with us on our adventure, toward our Big Fat Hairy Goal of a small scale tour of these pieces, and the first stop on the way is the Brighton Fringe, at the Marlborough between 9th – 11th May 2012. The rewards are no small-fry - we’ve thought about how we can get to know you better and how you can get to know our work – and we hope that they reflect how grateful we are for your support.
Please pass this link along to friends, colleagues, and become part of Hide and Seek’s extended family. And even if you can’t help us financially then spreading the word about this project would be a super great help! For every person that you forward this to, we will dance with joy - hopefully even all the way to Brighton.
Big love from, Gloria, Chandni, Tal and Alex at Hide and Seek Theatre.

Dearest friends,
We are 2 days away from the end of this wonderful stage of our journey, of which you have been an incredibly glorious part, and we are so happy to be working towards the production in Brighton in just a few weeks time.
We have so far reached 86% of the target, that's an amazing £1,246 donated to the campaign so far, with your generous support.
If you have friends or family who would be as excited as you (hopefully!) are about being part of these wonderful shows, passing the link on to them will give us that final boost that will get us to 100% of our funding goal.
Any amount will be a massive help, so do take a moment to think about people who might want to get involved, just as you have.
With love from,
Gloria, Tal, Chandni, Alex

Hooray!!
Today we hit 53% of our funding target, and with 12 days to go we are feeling good :)
How wonderful to have so much support, it means so much to know that people are backing us, thank you one and all, and if you haven't already donated please do take a moment to watch the video and check out our website at www.hideandseektheatre.com where the first of our blog entries is up and awaiting your perusal. We start with Tal's entry, taking us back to the very first days of these two projects.

We are 'looking good' with 41% of our target reached so far, and we've just been having a nosey at some of the other incredible projects around the Sponsume sight. It really is inspiring to see how many beautiful and diverse things people have got going on, we're especially loving the Dig Venture team's efforts, what an opportunity to be part of history!
Our own campaign continues apace, thanks to all who have donated already, and if you're on the fence at the moment, take a look at our website www.hideandseektheatre.com to see some of the other pieces that we've created in the past, and that'll give you more of an idea of the kind of theatre that we'll keep on making, with dedication and passion, and which we'd love for you to keep in touch with.
Happy Spring to all!
With love,
Gloria @ Hide and Seek Theatre
