There are 20 of us aged 2 1/2 to 4, who would like to look after chickens while we are at pre-school, and the head mistress Mrs Watkins has agreed that we can look after them in the grounds of our school. Usually we incubate eggs each year and when they hatch and grow up, we give them away... but this time we have been allowed to look after them for ever... wooooooohooooooooo.
The problem with this is they have got no where to live, so we are asking you to support us to buy them a house and a play ground to run around in. We will provide them with lots of food, water and love, and we can watch them and talk to them every day. When they start to lay eggs we can use them to make cakes and pancakes, and use any feathers they drop to make pictures.
Thank you for supporting us, and thank you to Mrs Watkins and Kath for letting us keep the chickens this year. And please don't tell the fox. XXX
