Gone To Get Milk Flying to Lithuania

London, GB
FUNDED

‘The same walls, the same people, the same never changing landscape that makes you want to scream for change, yet the same familiarity that brings you comfort. And every time you say you're leaving, you’re just going to get milk... ‘

GONE TO GET MILK

Gone To Get Milk is a physical theatre performance that balances delicately between the comic absurdity of domestic life and the hopelessness of a ‘dead end’ situation. Three people connected by mutual history and utility bills, locked in interlacing relationships that both suffocate and comfort them. Through awkward duets and solos dancers relationships fluctuate between tenderness, suppressed aggression and apathy.

The piece premiered to a sell-out theatre in January 2013 at The Place, London as part of Resolution! season. Following an incredibly warm audience reception and some great reviews (you can read them here) we were invited to perform at the New Baltic Dance Festival in Vilnius, Lithuania.

After a few more performances in the UK we are now preparing for our trip. That’s where you can get involved…

YOUR FUNDING

We are looking to raise £500 to cover our flights to Lithuania.

FUTURE PLANS

We have big plans for Gone To Get Milk, including several more performances in the UK, a film and development into a full-length work. So any additional funds raised here will go straight into a money jar to support these ventures.
