We are currently in the process of filming our short film which we have very high hopes for, however, we want to be able to get it entered into as many festivals as possible and get the cast and crew the recognition they deserve. To do this we need a little help from you guys. You see festival entry can be expensive and a little out of a students budget particularly after funding the creation of the film itself.
The video above is one which has been created to help promote the film whilst it is still in the process of being filmed.
The Film Plot
The short film which we are creating is a tragic love story between a married woman and a soldier during WW2. Eveline is a young woman married to an older Sgnt. who is very abusive towards her, whilst at a party she meets the young Robbie whom she falls for over a period of time before both Robbie and her husband are sent to war.
What we aim to embody in this short is a love story which is relatable to. Many people have known how it feels to lose love and everyone remembers their first love and how that made them feel.
What we need
We aim to start entering festivals with late entries in 2013 but mostly our aim is to enter this film into festivals for the 2014 season. With festival fees ranging from £20-£40 for shorts we look at some high costs trying to get our film out there to the masses. To us every penny counts and we appreciate donations no matter how small they are, we simply want a little help to lighten the cost for us and help us get our foot in the door for the next festival season.
