We are thrilled to announce that the hugely talented Bella Emberg (aka Blunderwoman) is now attached to Dog Day in the role of Evelyn! It's now even more vital that reach our target. Your support is not only massively appreciated but also essential. Thank you.
About the film:
Dog Day centres on the complex relationship between 30-something Lisa and her elderly mother Evelyn. Set in picturesque Brighton, Evelyn lives a lonely and isolated existence far from her only child. On Evelyn’s 70th birthday and a day out at the seaside, we witness the tension and bitterness in their relationship unfold. But as our story concludes, the two women reminisce, rediscover each other and reconnect on new even ground.
We will be shooting in Brighton on 15/16 October 2011.
About the cash:
We need £700 to cover the cost of camera, lighting and sound equipment and to hire our experienced and hard working crew to work it. We also need 2 talented actresses to bring Lisa and Evelyn to life. There's also the license to shoot in Brighton, public liability insurance, travel costs, catering, costumes and props. So this really is our 'Tesco value' budget!
