Raising bus fares for the arts.

'It's Got Legs' is a travel bursary supporting artists working in audio-visual media. Funds are raised through dramatic human feats such as marathons and other gruelling forms of epic journey.

Three hundred and thirty three pounds and thirty three pence will help two artists or filmmakers (one local and one international) reach a place of production.

Our first challenge is to run Eastbourne half-marathon.

The bursary is aimed at emerging artists - to bridge the gap between study and professional practice. Recipients will be selected in the summer of 2012 by one curator or professional working in the field.

£16.62 + : In 1662 Blaise Pascal invented the first public bus - horse-drawn, regular route, schedule, and fare system. Carry on the tradition and donate £16.62. In return - you'll feature on the website wall of fame, receive e-mail updates on artists progress and a lovely specially designed postcard from us.

 

Pace Maker

£25.00 + : Cut distances not arts funding - In return - you'll feature on the website wall of fame, receive e-mail updates on artists progress and a lovely specially designed postcard from us. Your name will also be included on the next It's Got Legs challenge t-shirt.

 

Cramp Buster

£50.00 + : You can be the lucozade for filmmakers in return you will receive a rather nice t-shirt, hall of fame mention and a pat on the back for effort.

 

Cross Country Champ

£100.00 + : Chauffeur some creativity - and you will receive an 'it's got legs t-shirt and poster, a website super-patron mention and a gold medal (made of plastic).
