PRIVATE is an exhibition devised by artists Alan Dunn and Michael Jenkins for two rooms at the top of Liverpool's iconic Radio City Tower. The two-hour event between 6.30-8.30pm on the evening of Sunday 16th September will transform two rooms with panoramic views of the Mersey and downtown Liverpool.
The Silent Room will host a new performance by the artists' group Foreign Investment and a playlist of soundtracks with which to consider the city below. The soundtracks include an exclusive new 9-minute track by Peter Hook of Joy Division and New Order, working as Man Ray with Phil Murphy, exclusive World Trader Center recordings by Stephen Vitiello and works by Haroon Mirza, Scanner and Chris Watson. The Zoo Room will run a programme of live art, including new works by Jeff Young, Ben Parry and Claire Potter, with video screening by Brass Art.
The event is for 35 invited people only and one sponsor will be given a place at the event. Other sponsors will receive a specially signed edition 'souvenir' from the event from documentation created by Tim Brunsden and Leila Romaya.
This is an artists' initiative and the artists require £600 to cover documentation and venue hire costs.
